### 🔧 Basic Tools

**❓ Which tools do I need to start fixing map conflicts?**\
✔️ You will need two **free** tools:

* 🔗 [OpenIV](https://openiv.com/) → to view and edit GTA V files.
* 🔗 [CodeWalker](https://discord.gg/Dct5nTMFaj) → to analyze and edit YMAP, occlusion, and collision files. ( DISCORD )

👉 With these tools, you can already fix the simplest conflicts.

### ❓ What are MLO conflicts?

Conflicts occur when two or more maps try to use the same resources.\
The most common types are:

* 🗂️ **YMAPs** → define objects/structures on the map. They can overlap.
* 👁️ **Occlusions** → control what is visible. They can make parts of the map disappear.
* 🧱 **Collisions** → define physical collisions. They can cause invisible walls, infinite falls, or pass-through surfaces.

> 🔔 **Note:** Collision conflicts usually require contacting the other map creator or advanced technical editing.

### ❓ How can I identify and resolve conflicts with EnergyShop maps?

1. ⛔ Disable all maps and keep **only EnergyShop maps** active.
2. 🗑️ Clear your server cache.
3. ✅ Test the server with EnergyShop maps only.
4. 🔄 Re-enable other maps **one by one**, testing each time.
5. 🕵️ Once you find the conflicting map:
   * Disable one of the maps **or**
   * Edit the YMAP, occlusion, or collision files.

### ❓ Is there a free tool to help with conflicts?

The best free option is **Springo Duplicate File Finder**, which helps detect duplicate files:

💡 **Vertex Hub** is a **paid tool** developed by **Prompt** (not EnergyShop).

* ⚡ It automatically detects and fixes YMAP, occlusion, and collision conflicts.
* 🧑‍💻 **Support and maintenance are provided only by Prompt**, the tool’s creator.
* ✅ EnergyShop only recommends it, but **does not provide support** for Vertex Hub.
